A DAY OF GRATITUDE AT GRACEY LANE

In an effort to raise money for the Fallbrook Food Pantry, Jen Phillips planned a "Day of Gratitude" at her Gracey Lane Farm for Nov. 7. The day consisted of two events, the first one being an artisan pop up, followed by a fine art exhibit opening of "Gratitude" in the Gracey Lane Gallery that afternoon.

The day featured local artisans and featured fine art artists for the “Gratitude” exhibit which also had is debut opening. The fine art artists included: Taylor Gallegos, Michael Walrond, Marissa Quinn, Luiz Garzon Masabo, Silvestre Miranda, and Virginie Mazureau.

The local artists included Karen Trapane and David Bean and artisans: Sandra Orozco-Tellez with Cultura con Sababor, Ebony Hawkins with Sacred Cluster, Alex Spector with Design by Alex, Jessica Bell with ReVessel, The Khoury Girls Maya and Sahara with ColorStreet.

The covid safety and weather conditions kept attendance low for both events, but ticket sales, art sales, artisan commissions and donations added up to $1,002.50 for the food pantry.

"It is a good example of how a little can go a long way when we join forces in our community; even with small businesses, we can make a difference," Phillips said.

The Gratitude Art Exhibit is open by appointment through December 18th. A percentage of all art sold during this time will go to The Fallbrook Food Pantry.

So much gratitude for everyone who came out to support, donate and help make this event a success!!
